Job Description:

To support Draughtsman to develop, apply and communicate innovative applications of 3-D modelling and other design software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply functional best practices, promote sharing of best practices and knowledge
• Communicate and report to clients with regards to design and draughting
• Assist in standardising, simplifying and speeding-up functional processes, eliminating duplication/bureaucracy
• Support development and implementation of systems and initiatives to drive performance excellence for discipline
• Formal and informal mentorship of individuals, contractors or consultants as required
• Support project drawing offices with appointment of temporary draughtsmen or companies supplying that particular service
• Coordinate optimal utilisation of resources for discipline
• Adhere to Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Standards
• Implement successful change initiatives in discipline
• Ensure drawing control and archiving guidelines as specified are adhered to
• Create, inspire and lead high-performance teams in discipline
• Provide expert consulting to project teams and the BU
• Serve the Company and public interest by meeting key client needs through development of drawings required
• Adhere to functional policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, end- to-end processes, tools, templates etc.

Job Requirements:

• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
• Cert Draughting (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
• N Dip: Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
• 3-5 years Relevant draughting and managerial experience (Essential/Minimum) Operational
